Who we are

Aelithon is an independent technology studio (“Aelithon”, “we”, “us”). We build user-centric apps - our first is Aqua, a hydration & wellness companion. This policy covers the aelithon.com website; each of our apps carries its own in-app privacy policy.

What we collect

We deliberately keep this to a minimum:

• Browsing the site: we don’t run our own advertising or cross-site tracking. Our CDN, Cloudflare, may collect aggregate, cookieless analytics (such as page views, country and device type) that can’t identify you, and may set strictly-necessary security cookies. Standard short-lived server logs (e.g. IP address) help keep the site secure.
• Contacting us: our contact form opens your own email app - it does not submit data to a server. We only ever receive the name, email and message you choose to send.
• Preferences: your theme choice and cookie choice are stored locally in your browser and never leave your device.

How we use your information

We use the limited information above only to reply to your message, to operate and secure the website, and to remember your preferences. We do not use it for profiling or automated decision-making.

Cookies & local storage

We use no marketing or analytics cookies. We store just two small preferences on your device: your selected theme and your cookie choice. You can clear these at any time in your browser. For detail, see our Cookie Policy.

Sharing & service providers

We never sell your personal data. We rely on a few trusted providers to run the site: Vercel (hosting), Cloudflare (CDN, security and privacy-friendly analytics), with the domain registered via GoDaddy. These providers process limited technical data on our behalf to deliver and protect the site, under their own privacy terms. We otherwise share information only where required by law.

Data retention

Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to help you, then deleted. Preferences remain on your device until you clear them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or to object to its processing. To exercise any of these, just email us and we’ll help.

Children

Our website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our products evolve, and we’ll revise the “last updated” date above when we do.
